Workday HRIS Senior Specialist

Responsibilities:

  • Resolving and providing expert support in resolution of complex HRIS incidents and coordinating the swift resolution of priority incidents
  • Mentoring and providing regular training in Workday to other team members, fostering their professional growth
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather and refine business requirements, design, build and implement new Workday enhancements and projects
  • Providing expert-level guidance in analyzing and optimizing complex Workday processes and implementing system enhancements, along with leading large-scale projects
  • Designing and optimizing complex integrations, workflows, and custom reports
  • Coordinating unit testing and user acceptance testing of new Workday/HR applications features
  • Providing user training and support go-live and hyper care activities
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to define HR technology roadmaps and provide strategic guidance on Workday solutions

 

Requirements:

  • 5 years minimum of hands-on experience in Workday consulting
  • Expert-level proficiency in Workday configurations, integrations, and reporting
  • Strong knowledge of HR processes and system requirements
  • Experience leading full-cycle Workday implementations
  • Experience in IT service management methodologies (ITIL)
  • Experience in agile change management methodologies and tools (eg. JIRA)
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize between different assignments
  • Proficiency in business process analysis, requirements gathering, and solution design
  • Ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and successful cooperation throughout projects
  • Proficiency in driving and implementing transformative changes through effective project leadership and management
  • Willingness to share knowledge, train others and act as a mentor to less experienced team members
  • Embracing and promoting change, especially from business standpoint
  • Commitment to personal and technical growth, embracing learning opportunities that extend beyond their comfort zone
  • Willingness to travel
  • Fluent English – written and spoken
