UAT Tester / Service Controller

Responsibilities:

• Collaborating with key Finance and Project stakeholders to understand business and functional requirements
• Executing the UAT process for the Strategic Ledger and supporting the product rollout into production for the Services Controllers organization
• Running test scripts based on application requirements and identifying any defects, recommending appropriate corrective actions, and conducting root cause analysis in collaboration with the Projects team and Controller Subject Matter Experts (SMEs)
• Retesting issues after they are fixed to ensure they are resolved
• Actively communicating UAT testing progress and status updates to Controllers and other stakeholders

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Management, or a related field
• 8+ years of relevant work experience, ideally within global corporations and financial services, particularly in banking or a related consulting role
• Extensive experience with implementing complex reporting solutions to support both group-wide and local financial, regulatory, and management reporting processes
• Strong understanding of General Ledger and Chart of Accounts design concepts, Data Governance principles, US GAAP, IFRS, and Local GAAP standards
• A proactive problem-solver with strong motivation, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively within a team. Well-versed in project and program management principles, methods, and techniques
• Product knowledge of basic loan and deposit products is advantageous, though training on products and system setups will be provided prior to testing
• Very good command of English (oral and written)
