Senior Java Developer

Responsibilities:

• Develop and design code to meet user story requirements and acceptance criteria
• Collaborate with a team of 6 in scrum-based 2-week iterations
• Analyze and enhance the existing codebase, ensuring sustainability and future-proofing
• Communicate design, effort estimates, and risk levels to the team
• Write high-quality code meeting functional and non-functional requirements
• Maintain and refactor code while preserving functionality

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in similar position
• English level: B2, C1
• Proficient in Java 8, including streams, lambdas, and date/time API.
• Experience with Spring Framework and Spring Boot for building enterprise applications.
• Skilled in using ActiveMQ for message-driven applications and asynchronous communication.
• Strong knowledge of MySQL for database design, optimization, and query writing.
• Experience with Elasticsearch for search functionalities and handling large datasets.
• Proficient in containerizing applications using Docker for development and deployment.
• Experience with Maven and Gradle for build automation and dependency management.
• Skilled in Git version control, including branching, merging, and conflict resolution.
• Readiness to work with legacy/complex code
• Debugging skills
• Ability to gather requirements from the client
