Senior Data Engineer with GCP

Responsibilities:

• Act as a Data Engineer for the Google Cloud Platform projects: scalable and re-usable, self-service frameworks for data ingestion implementation of warehouses, data lakes, data marts and data processing pipeline solutions for new and existing clients
• Build and maintain efficient, scalable, and reliable data architectures for analytics and reporting
• Implement data quality checks and data validation processes to ensure accuracy and consistency of the data
• Maintain and update data documentation and data dictionaries
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions

Requirements:

• 6+ years of professional experience in the Data & Analytics area
• 2+ years of experience in GCP
• Proven experience with GCP cloud services (like: BigQuery, Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, Workflows, Dataflow)
• Proven experience with GIT
• Great knowledge and skills of SQL and at least general knowledge one of following programming languages: Java, Python
• Knowledge of the DWH, Data Lake, Lakehouse design principles
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Very good communication, verbal and written in English
• Comfortable with ambiguity
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform - nice to have
• Experience with data frameworks like dbt, with ETL tools like Talend and with data movement platforms like Fivetran would be a plus
• Knowledge of CI/CD processes
• Proven experience in Agile methodologies
• Capable of working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative, cross-functional and cross-cultural environment
