Reconciliation & Proofing Analyst

Responsibilities:

  • Support the delivery of high-quality depositary monitoring services, ensuring client activities comply with regulatory requirements and corporate trusteeship responsibilities
  • Perform reconciliation and proofing activities, investigating and resolving discrepancies between internal records and client-provided data in a maker-checker control environment
  • Act as a trusted point of contact for clients and third-party administrators, managing communication in a timely, professional and service-oriented manner
  • Respond to standard and non-standard queries related to trustee oversight activities, maintaining a high standard of business correspondence
  • Coordinate onboarding of new clients, processes and solutions within the team and support continuous process improvements
  • Contribute as a Subject Matter Expert by providing guidance, sharing knowledge and supporting less experienced colleagues
  • Support process supervision activities and provide backup for supervisory responsibilities during absences
  • Help protect investor interests by ensuring operational activities align with fund regulations, internal controls and fiduciary obligations

 

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in financial operations, preferably within investment funds, custody, trustee/depositary services or related capital markets environments
  • Solid understanding of financial instruments, operational processes and regulatory frameworks within financial services
  • Experience in business analysis, including requirements gathering, problem solving and translating business needs into actionable solutions
  • Strong analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail and the ability to investigate and resolve data discrepancies
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a structured and organized manner
  • Very good command of English, both written and spoken
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or a related field
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with a client-focused approach
