QA Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain test automation frameworks from scratch to support ongoing development and delivery processes
• Define and drive the automation testing strategy, ensuring alignment with project goals and quality standards
• Perform API testing and end-to-end automation using tools such as Playwright
• Develop and execute BDD-based automated test scenarios, collaborating closely with developers and product owners
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, maintaining and improving test coverage across environments
• Conduct manual testing when required, particularly for new or complex features not yet covered by automation
• Work with SQL databases to validate test data and ensure data integrity across systems
• Identify, analyze, and report software defects, ensuring timely resolution in collaboration with the development team
• Monitor and maintain automation infrastructure to ensure stability and scalability of test execution

Requirements:

• Proven experience in building automation frameworks from scratch
• Strong skills in API testing
• Proficiency with Playwright
• Solid understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript
• Experience with Behaviour-Driven Development (BDD)
• Good knowledge of SQL databases
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines/Setting up and maintaining

Nice to have:

• Experience with Python
• Familiarity with cloud-based testing environments
• Knowledge of performance and security testing
