PHP Developer

Responsibilities:

• Develop and continuously improve core backend services using PHP to meet evolving business and product requirements in the iGaming, sports betting, and personal finance sectors
• Participate in technical design discussions, defining the best approaches and trade-offs to implement business capabilities in an iterative manner
• Apply best software engineering practices, including SOLID principles, design patterns, and caching strategies, to ensure the robustness and scalability of the systems
• Design and implement API-first, high-traffic, multi-tenant architectures, applying domain-driven design (DDD) principles to ensure system flexibility and maintainability
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Product, Design, Content, and SEO, to deliver high-quality, user-centered products
• Optimize and scale global products across key dimensions such as performance, observability, team efficiency, and developer experience (DevExp)
• Contribute to large-scale software projects, focusing on building distributed, highly available, and customer-facing platforms

Requirements:

•  Minimum 4 years of experience in similar position
• Extensive experience as a backend software engineer (PHP required as most of the system are written in that language, but also significant experience with other backend languages like Java, C#, Kotlin), with a track record of applying best design principles and practices (SOLID, design patterns, caching, etc)
• Solid understanding in applying domain driven design to API-first, high-traffic, multi-tenant architectures
• Experience on large-scale software projects and distributed, highly-available and customer-facing platforms
• Proven experience in applying domain driven design to API-first, multi-tenant platform
• Bonus points for: Knowledge of AWS Cloud design principles and infrastructure
• English level: B2, C1
