IT Automation Tester

Responsibilities:

• Performing functional/technical tests on the system under test
• Understand the data lineage and transformations of underlying data and develop suitable test to evaluate the quality of changes in the transformations
• Automation of technical and functional tests, Developing automated regression tests to evaluate the quality of change prior to the deployment to production
• Develop radical QA solutions to improve the quality of system and actively collaborate with scrum team in a SAFe setup

Requirements:

• Minimum of 7+ years’ experience in Functional ETL testing, with a minimum 2+ years of experience in Banking (preferably Credit Risk)
• Expertise in Functional testing in Database and Data migration, transformations and ETL
• Expertise and sound knowledge in Advanced SQLs and Joins
• Experience in Slowly Changing Dimensions Data Warehousing concepts
• Experience in any automation framework, preferably Robot Automation and Python scripting
• Hands-on experience in Hadoop, HDFS, Hive, Data Stage
• Prior work experience in DevOps, CI CD pipeline, SAFe setup
• Good analytical skills with ability to understand the data lineage of the system under test
• Highly motivated, proactive attitude with a willingness to learn
