Fund Accounting Manager

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of professionals, overseeing day-to-day operations, performance evaluations, recruitment, and disciplinary actions
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend system and service enhancements, including leading system testing and evaluations
• Assign tasks effectively based on business needs and team member skills, ensuring optimal performance and development
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, acting as the primary point of escalation for complex issues
• Conduct client visits and discovery processes to assess service quality and enhance client satisfaction
• Manage the Risk and Control agenda, collaborating with auditors to ensure compliance and addressing process gaps
• Work closely with senior management to identify cost-saving opportunities, optimize resources, and improve efficiency
• Collaborate with Sales and Client Executives to enhance client management and service initiatives
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, making sound ethical decisions and maintaining transparency in business practices

Requirements:

• Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in fund accounting and financial services
• Professional qualifications such as Chartered Accountant, CFA, or MBA
• Extensive knowledge of fund services, operational delivery, and process optimization
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with a proven ability to drive results in a team-oriented environment
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with expertise in the subject matter
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required (Master's degree preferred)
• Very good command of English (oral and written)
