Data Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain data pipelines for large-scale meter reading systems
• Develop and manage infrastructure on GCP using Terraform, IAM, AppEngine, Cloud Functions, Cloud Workflows, and Cloud Build
• Manage BigQuery infrastructure, including dataset management and schema definition
• Administer ElasticSearch clusters
• Write and maintain automation scripts for build processes and system operations in Bash, Python, and Node.js
• Implement and manage data models using DBT
• Perform data transformations in BigQuery, including OLAP tasks, window functions, nested collections, and complex SQL queries
• Write and modify scripts in Python or Node.js for managing data in Firestore
• Provide DevOps support for Firestore and related tools
• Create and maintain reports in Looker Studio or Power BI
  

Requirements:

• 4 years experience in similar position
• Proficiency with GCP tools including Terraform, IAM, AppEngine, Cloud Functions, Cloud Workflows, Cloud Build
• Experience working with BigQuery, including OLAP-level SQL, window functions, and nested collections
• Ability to administer ElasticSearch
• Strong scripting skills in Bash, Python, and Node.js
• Knowledge of DBT for data model management
• Basic understanding of Firestore, including using Python or Node.js
• Strong analytical skills and experience solving data-related issues
• English level: B2, C1
• Experience with Looker Studio or Power BI (nice to have)
