Cloud Data Engineer with AWS

Responsibilities:

• Provide ongoing support to users by addressing tasks from the backlog and roadmap, with a focus on reporting and BI system enhancements
• Expand the Business Intelligence (BI) system by integrating additional data sources, ensuring seamless data flow and accurate reporting
• Assist in the migration of the existing BI solution from an on-premises SQL Server to AWS RDS, ensuring minimal disruption and maximum efficiency
• Migrate existing SSRS reports and their associated data sources to the AWS cloud, optimizing for cloud performance and scalability
• Load new data sources into the Data Lake on AWS, enabling comprehensive data analysis and reporting capabilities

Requirements:

• Hands-on experience with AWS services, particularly AWS Lambda, for building and managing serverless data pipelines
• Proficiency in SQL, with experience working with PostgreSQL and Amazon Aurora for complex data queries and operations
• Strong proficiency in Python, with extensive experience using Pandas for data manipulation and analysis
