Cloud Data Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Build and assist in design of innovative greenfield cloud solutions across a range of platforms including AWS and Azure
• Support the development and rollout of industry first global analytics programmes and platforms
• Develop and deploy automated cloud solutions with an emphasis on security and automation
• Orchestrate and productionise existing data pipelines and processes
• Build out and maintain DevOps processes, utilising CICD pipelines and IAC to maintain a healthy cloud environment
• Utilise RBAC to ensure compliant ways of working within platforms, and ensure our cloud environments are secure through appropriate networking controls and monitoring
• Work closely with great programme teams – project lead, data scientists and analysts – and interface with client technology counterparts
• Identify ways to improve data reliability, processing efficiency and quality of our data output
• Produce detailed documentation and champion code quality
• You will get the chance to champion the adoption of cloud within the data team, acting as an SME in this space
• Enable companies to be at the cutting edge of AI & LLMs through compliant platforms working with data sources such as social, search, surveys, reviews, clickstream, sales, connected devices and beyond

Requirements:

• Strong experience in working with Azure
• Proficiency in Python
• Knowledge of SQL
• Good knowledge of English (min. B2 level)
• Knowledge of Databricks, Snowflake, ELT/ETL
