Senior SAP FICO Expert

Responsibilities:

• Financial IT Chain Management:
  
  • Coordinate the financial recording, actuarial reporting, and financial reporting processes within the broad and complex financial IT chain
  • Ensure the seamless flow of information through various systems, including investments, financial bookings, actuarial reporting, and financial reporting for IFRS
• System Knowledge and Expertise:
  
  • Possess comprehensive knowledge of financial systems and reporting tools, including SAP BW, SAP BCS, SAP Disclosure Management, CxO, Powercenter, and Risk engines
  • Stay abreast of updates and changes in the financial IT landscape, providing insights and recommendations for system improvements
• Collaboration and Communication:
  
  • Act as the key liaison between developers and technical administrators, facilitating effective communication and collaboration
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and implement changes to the production environment in a controlled and secure manner
• Change Management:
  
  • Manage and oversee changes to the production environment, ensuring a smooth transition and minimal disruption to operations
  • Implement and adhere to best practices for change control and release management
• Efficiency and Timeliness:
  
  • Optimize processes to ensure timely and efficient financial reporting within the financial IT chain
  • Identify opportunities for automation and streamlining of workflows

Requirements:

• Experience with SAP FI/CO
• Treasury Knowledge
• Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
