Senior Accountant with German

Responsibilities:

• Processing vendor invoices, verifying accuracy, and ensuring timely payments are made in accordance with payment terms
• Generating and sending customer invoices, tracking payments, and following up on overdue accounts to ensure timely collection
• Recording financial transactions accurately in the general ledger, including journal entries, accruals, and adjustments
• Reconciling bank statements and other financial accounts on a regular basis to ensure accuracy
• Supporting the budgeting process by compiling financial data, analysing variances, and assisting in the development of financial forecasts
• Providing documentation and support for internal and external audits, ensuring that audit requests are fulfilled accurately and promptly
• Identifying opportunities to streamline accounting processes
• Proven experience in the area of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and General Ledger
  
  

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of previous experience in a finance environment - preferably in the environment supporting country/region
• Fluent German - written and spoken
• Fluent English - written and spoken
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaborate effectively in a team environment
• Good knowledge of MS Office and SAP (SD/FI)
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial reporting
• Excellent organizational skills
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
• Flexibility in adapting to a dynamic business environment
• Additional Scandinavian language is an advantage
