Test Automation Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement automated test cases in collaboration with cross-functional teams
• Reduce manual testing efforts by automating both Frontend and Backend test flows
• Perform performance testing according to standards using JMeter
• Gather, prepare, and manage test data required for testing activities
• Monitor, debug, analyse, and document test results
• Proactively enhance and expand automated test coverage
• Support and advocate for QA best practices within the delivery team

Requirements:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in test automation (Web GUI and/or REST service level)
• Proficiency in Java
• Strong experience with Bamboo
• Solid general testing knowledge (ISTQB Foundation level or equivalent)
• Ability to drive and coordinate QA-related activities within the team
• Hands-on experience with automation frameworks and tools such as: Selenium WebDriver, Playwright, Cypress, Rest-Assured, Postman, Chrome DevTools, Maven
• Deep understanding and fluency in GIT
• Experience with Performance Testing (e.g., JMeter)
• Familiarity with test management tools (preferably qTest)
• Experience working in environments using Confluence, Jira
• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Bamboo)

Nice to have:

• Mobile application testing experience
• Data manipulation skills (XML, CSV, JSON)
• Experience with BDD and Gherkin
