Junior Operations Business Analyst

Responsibilities:

• Analyze existing processes and design solutions responding to operational or client requirements
• Prepare business requirements, create testing scripts, and perform testing activities
• Collaborate closely with Product, Technology, Operations, and external clients to ensure alignment with strategic goals
• Escalate potential project risks proactively
• Challenge existing processes and propose improvements or innovative solutions
• Conduct root cause analysis of recurring operational issues
• Handle ad-hoc queries and operational requests
• Contribute to creation and maintenance of project plans
• Participate actively in team initiatives and continuous improvement efforts

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a financial institution or operational environment

•  Experience in either project or business analysis activities (identifying and gathering business requirements, preparing project documentation, supporting or executing solution testing) or fund industry and financial markets operations (understanding of NAV valuation processes and related systems, knowledge of transaction flows within Securities Services / Middle Office, operational understanding of what is processed and why)

•  Very good command of English, both written and spoken

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under tight deadlines

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

• Basic knowledge of MS Visio, Power BI and SQL is considered a strong asset
