IT Analyst with Mainframe

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, understand, and document strategic objectives and functional requirements
• Translate business strategies into actionable technical specifications
• Prepare, manage, and refine requirements related to Mainframe applications
• Work closely with developers, architects, and technical teams to ensure accurate implementation of business needs
• Analyze and map existing business processes to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement
• Design and propose optimized business processes aligned with organizational goals
• Participate in and support user acceptance testing (UAT); gather feedback and ensure stakeholder sign-off
• Provide training, documentation, and post-implementation support to business users
• Generate reports and deliver insights on solution performance and effectiveness
• Collaborate in an international and cross-functional environment

Requirements:

• 5–8 years of experience in IT or business analysis roles
• Previous experience in banking or financial services, especially consumer card services, is highly preferred
• Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks and SDLC practices
• Proven experience with data mapping, data migration, and process modeling
• Hands-on experience with SQL and technical tools for analysis
• Solid understanding of the cards domain and regulatory landscape in banking
• Ability to effectively communicate with developers and technical teams
• Proficiency in analysis methodologies and modeling tools
• Hands-on experience working with Mainframe applications and environments, including understanding of legacy system architecture, batch processes, and data structures
• Very good command of English (oral and written)
